Proof of presence: how a scan gets its stamp.
A scan earns its stamp before it's written down. Here's what that takes, for admins and for anyone whose check-in was blocked.
The checks on every scan
- Location validation. Attendance is marked only inside the area set for your organisation, or at home on a work-from-home shift. Location is read at the moment of the scan.
- Fake location detection. If a phone reports a fake GPS location, Attend QR catches it.
Work-from-home days
On a work-from-home shift, the location check uses the person's home instead of the office. Office days and home days go into the same record.
What the report flags
The date-range report counts faked locations for each person, and flags shared locations and impossible travel between scans. A flag isn't a verdict. It's where to look first, and a shared reception desk can explain one.
No stamp? Here's why.
- Outside the area. The scan came from outside the designated area. Scan again once you're inside it.
- No real location. The phone couldn't share a real location. Turn location on, switch off any app that changes it, then scan again.
- Still blocked? Ask an authorised admin to mark your attendance by hand while it's sorted out.
Every check-in on the dashboard has its stamp, which is what makes the record worth reading. A blocked scan you can't explain? Send the details to info@attendqr.in and we'll reply within 24 hours.
