These terms govern your access to and use of Attend QR. Please read them before you use the service.

Introduction

Welcome to Attend QR, an attendance management service for organisations.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Attend QR ("we", "our" or "us"). They govern your access to and use of the Attend QR web app, this website, the Attend QR Device and related services (together, the "Services"). By creating an account, accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Services.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Services. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

If you accept these Terms on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation to them.

Accounts and Workspaces

Each organisation that uses Attend QR has its own workspace. The organisation's admins add, update and remove the people who use it, and decide who has admin, HR and manager access.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current and complete information.
  • Keep your login credentials secure.
  • Tell us promptly about any unauthorised use of your account.
  • Be responsible for all activity carried out under your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or put the security of the Services at risk.

Use of the Services

Attend QR provides QR code attendance, location checks, shifts, leave, holidays, overtime, reports and related tools for organisations. You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in line with applicable laws and regulations.

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Services.
  • Reverse engineer, modify, copy or distribute any part of the Services without authorisation.
  • Report a false location, or otherwise falsify attendance records.
  • Use the Services for fraudulent, illegal or abusive activities.

Organisations and Their People

Attend QR records check-ins, check-outs and the location a device reports at each scan. An organisation that uses the Services is responsible for:

  • Telling its employees and other users what the Services record, and obtaining any consent the law requires.
  • Deciding who in the organisation can see and change attendance records.
  • The accuracy of attendance it marks by hand.
  • Complying with the employment, labour and data protection laws that apply to it.

Free Trial, Plans and Payment

We offer a 30-day free trial: ask for it when you book a demo. The trial uses phones; the Attend QR Device is not part of it.

Paid plans and their prices, in Indian rupees, are listed on our Pricing page. Plans are paid in advance, monthly or yearly. Each plan includes a set number of users and of admin, HR and manager logins. If your organisation needs more, you can move to a higher plan or contact us about the Custom plan.

When a free trial or a paid period ends without payment for the next period, access to the workspace stops.

Prices may change from time to time. A change applies from the first billing period that starts after it is published on our Pricing page.

Refunds

Paid plans come with a 7-day money-back guarantee on the first payment. What it covers, and how to ask for a refund, are set out in our Refund Policy.

The Attend QR Device

The Attend QR Device is priced separately from the plans, with an installation charge, and is quoted on request. The terms for a device and its installation are set out in the quote.

Your Data

An organisation's attendance records belong to that organisation, and its reports can be downloaded as CSV.

The collection, use, storage and protection of data are governed by our Privacy Policy.

Notifications and Communications

By using Attend QR, you agree to receive:

  • Attendance notifications, such as late-arrival alerts to managers and HR.
  • System notifications.
  • Service announcements.
  • Security-related communications.

You may manage some notification preferences through your device settings where applicable.

Intellectual Property

All content, software, trademarks, logos, graphics, text and other materials associated with Attend QR are the intellectual property of Attend QR or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from them without our prior written permission.

Third-Party Services

Attend QR relies on third-party services such as cloud hosting, email and notification delivery, and the location services of your device.

We are not responsible for the content, policies, availability or practices of third-party services.

Disclaimer

Attend QR records the location each device reports at the time of a scan. Location checks and fake location detection make false check-ins harder, but no system can guarantee that a device reports where it really is.

Attendance records, reports and notifications are provided for operational purposes. Each organisation remains solely responsible for the decisions it makes with them, including decisions about pay, leave and conduct.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Attend QR shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising from:

  • Use of, or inability to use, the Services.
  • Service interruptions.
  • System errors.
  • Delays in data transmission.
  • Locations or other data reported by devices.
  • Decisions made using attendance records or reports.
  • Unauthorised access to user accounts.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if:

  • These Terms are violated.
  • Payment for a plan is not made.
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity is detected.
  • Continued access poses a security or operational risk.

Termination does not limit any other legal remedies available to us.

Changes to the Services

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any feature or functionality of the Services at any time.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms. The latest version is always published on this page with its last updated date.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
